The Ecsta V730 is Kumho's Extreme Performance Summer tire developed for sports cars, performance sedans and enthusiast drivers who participate in high-performance driving schools, autocrosses, and track days. The Ecsta V730 is built to maximize grip and handling in competition environments, but still provide reasonable on-road refinement and durability for a high level of performance no matter the venue. Like all Extreme Performance Summer tires, the Ecsta V730 is not intended to be serviced, stored nor driven in near-and-below-freezing temperature, through snow or on ice.
The Kumho Ecsta V730 utilizes an ultra-high grip tread compound featuring fine carbon black and synthetic resins for enhanced grip and consistency in high performance applications. The Ecsta V730's highly asymmetric tread design employs an extensive outboard shoulder element, helping ensure consistent cornering traction and dry road responsiveness. An optimized tire footprint design helps manage the extreme lateral cornering forces and longitudinal braking and acceleration grip for improved endurance and longevity. Two inboard circumferential grooves and lateral notches help evacuate water from the contact patch for improved hydroplaning resistance in wet conditions.
